We do NOT use extra kick-device !
In order to twist the sail we use ONLY the halyard.
Under moderate wind conditions we need only to slack off on the halyard and the sail will twist. When we again tightens the halyard there is tention building up in the aftermost parts of the sail.
Under very light wind conditions the special twist bracket ( image above) is engaged. The storage winding of the sail is stopped - and the twist adjustable by slacking the halyard.
